Andersen and Afton turned four years old this year...four!!! Tonight we celebrated the the February birthdays...even for the ones who couldn't make it. :) The kids (and adults too) had a blast celebrating with dinner, presents, cake & ice cream, and a pinata!
I think James was more excited about Costco cake than the kids were. He started cutting the cake before we could even sing to Andersen! :)
We did end up singing though. And here's Andersen blowing out the candles.
Nana's birthday present for the kids this year is their very own blanket that can be tucked into a pocket to double as a pillow too! Above is Afton's Dora blanket, and below is the Curious George blanket for Andersen.
Rebecca could tell Andersen liked the blanket because he brought it to her so she could see it and then tried to stay close to it. Doesn't he look adorable here?
The highlight of the evening for the kids was the pinata. Each took a turn swinging at it, while the adults tried to keep the peace.
Jeff finally knocked the life out of the pinata, spraying candy all over the ground.
The kids, and Jay, quickly dove down trying to gather handfuls of candy. Jay said he was "trying to help Ally." Sure Jay, sure.

The evening ended with the kids rolling around on skateboards. Owen looks too cool in this shot, but Chetan was having the time of his life.
